Hello photographers,
I’m currently facing an issue with my GH5 and could really use your expertise. The mode dial has become stuck and non-functional. Before disassembling the device, I carefully checked the manual and confirmed that the mode dial was not locked, as the lock button was not pressed. After disassembling the top unit and replacing the button, I'm struggling to reassemble it correctly. Specifically, I’d like to know:How many 1.5mm bearing balls should be placed under the mode dial?Where exactly should the springs be positioned, and how many are required?
After reassembling everything, the mode dial spins freely without engaging, and the middle screw turns without any resistance. If anyone has experience with this issue or knows the correct assembly process, your tips and guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Here how it was before to disassemble it
Thank you in advance for your help!
