Well, I went shopping for some film here in Tokyo, hoping to find some Reala. I thought that if I found some in Japan, then it might still be in production. I found a large, well stocked film shop but sadly, they had no Reala at all.

WOW. That image alone gives me hope for film. What a grand display! Thanks for sharing it.

Wow, even boxes of Provia 400x. Sorry you couldn't find any Reala.

Maybe it's not called Reala in Japan? i.e., what was called Neopan 400 everywhere was called Presto in Japan, and Neopan 1600 was called Super Presto.

-) Reala was called Reala in Japan too (rather Reala Ace)

-) Reala Ace is no longer listed since spring 2013

Except that less than 4 years ago that exact same shop had three huge coolers of film, now it's down to just the one.

There's plenty of 120 Reala on Amazon U.S.A and UK.
