Real estate brochure boxes. The perfect cheap dip tank for wet plate developing

Wow. I was gonna shell out $89 for wet plate dip tanks for my tin type project. Then I discovered those brochure boxes on real estate signs are the perfect substitute.

They're only $6-$20 each. Some of them have holes on the bottom to keep rain from building up. Epoxy and a strip of plexiglass can fix that problem.

This is a great idea, for several tasks. It would also make a good little tank for steel facing small copper gravure plates. Please let me know if you find ones without holes.

The ones sold at staples don't have holes in the bottom
