I am not sure what you man by "real architectural-photographers". But this example seems quite standard for a professional photographer. In this case it seems more a matter of the architecture than the photographer.

(I say it seems, as we do not know the actual lighting situation of this space, maybe though the photographer did not add any lighting.)
 
"quite standard" generally means highly skilled, in my experience with real architectural photographers (as with other professional photography specialists). The example in the article has specifically to do with HDR and/or Lightroom ...lighting isn't the subject.

"Architectural photographer" is a professional who works with architects, builders et al (as opposed to someone who makes snaps of old barns).
