But the plastic tabs can be used for pin registration and the cardboard sleeves for dodging/burning masks. The metal clips can go in the recycling bin (as could the cardboard), so very little needs to end up in landfill.

hi paul

but do i need 80 pin registration things ( i don't even do that process )
and i don't burn and dodge with anything but my hands ...
it will all be recycled but hte plastic do dads ...
still a lot of packaging, makes me feel guilty i even used them

Wellllll,,,,,,,, If you have any left and you want to avoid the guilt trip, send them over here and I will make sure they get recycled in a safe manner.

Don't forget that the New55 project is now selling ready-loaded 4x5 black and white negative film. It works only in Polaroid 545 holders:

hi vince

i have a 545i as well as a 500 back for their film
but it really doesn't matter much, i am too broke to buy that stuff ...

I just scanned my first set of the New55 1SHOT (Atomic-X) and I love the stuff. Plus their packaging material is 100% recyclable!

I was going to ask who made ready loads..........I had forgotten about New55.

Although it is expensive, I would be willing to shoot some to keep it alive...........not everyday, mind you, but some.
