What patents? If I read the USPTO correctly, the Kodak patents on Readyloads expire in the middle of 2007. Sorry, I've forgotten which month exactly, but I think it was May or June. IOW, there's no patents Ilford has to get around. They just have to justify doing the work and making the investment.
