Re-Invigorating the Monthly Shooting Assignment (MSA)

By the way, that "owner" designation relates to the fact that that was the historical way that individuals were given mini-moderator status for the purpose of administering any particular Member Organized Function. I got that "job" because the MSA had some momentum, and needed those organizing tools, and I volunteered - long before I became a full scale moderator.
If there is reasonable consensus, the MSA (or if people prefer, the MFSA) can become whatever people want. I just get one voice in the discussion.

@MattKing -- we can call you the de facto owner, since you seem to be the one with practical authority over it. The MSA itself predates the entry of a lot of us onto the forum. So, while you may rightfully only have one voice in the discussion, in this instance it resounds more than others.
