Can you post a link for the rechargeable version. I bought a pair of CR5's last month and they cost me 50% more than the brand new CAnon SLR I bought the day before :D

I've just bought an EOS 50E from the auction site and it happened to have the battery grip with it. I hadn't intended using the grip at all, until I found out it could use my cheap and cheerful AA rechargeables in place of the 2CR5 , so it might be worthwhile checking to see if you can get a similar grip for your camera?

Be careful, they are all 3,6V even if marketed as 3V. There is no rechargeable technology allowing for exact 3.0V, unless some extra circuitry is used - and as fas as I know, it is not.

If I get a hankering to use my Nikon Pronea S I may look for an AA battery holder. The lithium batteries don't last very long. Even if NiMh AAs can't be used, the alkaline AAs are less than 25 cents each in quantity.
