RB67 - scenery photography - focused to infinity?

I have taken the RB67 on a road tour and doing mainly scenery landscape photography. Do you find that you are mostly focused to infinity so the knobs are turn to the extreme side. It does make focusing a lot easier, sometimes I don't even focus, I just turn the knob to the end and just compose my shot.

I have the 50mm and the 90mm.

Yes this can be the case, and more often with the 50mm lens.

When you say extreme side are you saying no bellows extension at all? I use an RB for landscape shots with 50 & 90, but always find a need to have at least a tiny bit of bellows extension using Hyperfocal procedures.

The correct adjustment depends on the subject. When the subject is a distant landscape everything is sufficiently far away that infinity focus is the correct thing. When the same landscape has a nearby tree framing the subject and the tree is wanted in focus then focus midway in between the tree and infinity would be appropriate.
The depth of field changes with the aperture used. With the lens wide open it is least, and with the lens stopped all the way down it is most, this setting would be used when the tree is very close to the camera.
The lenses have a depth of field scale that shows the distances that are in focus.

Keep in mind that the RB can focus past infinity depending on the lens/temp/humidity/etc.
