RB67 ProS Film Back Repair

Does anyone know who is able to repair a RB67 ProS film back that has film advance issues?

Contact Zack’s Camera Repair in Rhode Island. They have been mentioned on this site as a capable shop. I have not used them. A suggestion is to consider buying another film back. It might be in the same ballpark for cost as a repair. All versions of film backs (Pro, Pro S, Pro SD) work with the Pro SD bodies.

OP, if it is your only film back you might entertain buying another one and fix the bad one in the future if needed. Not that cost of either is not of concern, but it's a good idea to have at least 2 backs just in case while out and about things go south for any reason.
As another thought KEH does repair as well. Not sure about backs but they do a lot of fix-it's on many products.

Thank you both for your suggestions. I actually have three backs, one for low contrast shots, one for high contrast shots and one for neutral (5 zone) shots. This way I can increase or decrease development of each roll accordingly. So, I really want that 3d back to Worley properly. You are probably correct that the repair cost is likely near the cost of another back, but there is no guarantee that the new back will work properly. A CLA on my back would give me comfort that I have a back that will work for years to come.

Well, KEH said it would be $180 to repair the back, if can be repaired (availability of parts). So, I found a used one for $45. Let’s hope it works properly. At least it is returnable. Wish me luck.

the most common problem with backs are the signal arm mechanism and the counter. usually a cleaning will free it

but then there are rare occasions resulting from an over zealous user. the lever stop is a cast metal. if the user was doing that 35mm rapid cranking, the lever snaping back will crack that cast piece or break the tiny springs of the ratchet n pawls.

most repairmen will quote for broken parts.
