Well happy shooting, enjoy.

Re: keeping aware of the orientation of the backs.

All my Pro and Pro-S backs have indicators on the backs themselves - small rectangles that reveal the truth!

They are important, because my RB body is the older, Pro body.

Matt. I have that too but can't see them under the prism finder.
Tom.

Tom:

Of course, you are right. I forgot, because I don't use a prism finder.

Hi Tom,

I have 2 spare revolving back adapters for Pro-S which I don't need, you can have them if you want, PM me.

btw, received the hasselblad, pretty pleased with it, thanks mate.

You can continue using it as is, as long as you don't mind.

It fires n has no effect on the image?... that is basically what we need most in a camera, the rest is gravy.

Shame to waste a rev back, I know a few bodies that can use one in any condition.

.

I have a spare one sitting here.

Yeah, I don't really mind but it's a pain because I know I won't remember the orientation of the back.

Nope images are Ok but the revolving back seals are shot. If I get a new one I'm happy to send you this one if you're interested.

The chrome bar should measure 9mm long

My original revolving back.. shutter wasnt always firing in one orientation, you just need to work everything and clean all the moving pins, and add a tiny dry lubricant to it (like teflon lubricant), work it in and out, then wipe off excess.

Hehe sorry for all the confusion Paul.

Not sure how it did, it's new to me so its history is unknown.

I may be able to attach another pin fashioned from something from the hardware shop or something. I'll see what I can do.

Thanks for the offer, I'd be keen for that

When rotating there is a thing underneath it that slots a cener pin up inside the protuding pin so they only pop up during landscape orientation.

RE seals: All my seals are basically gone and mine is fin, though you can get a seal replacement kit for $10 anyway.

Hi Athiril,
I worked out how it works and there is something not right. There is either something broken or something missing.
tom.
