It uses the 6v battery in the body to power the light meter. The finder has no battery chamber.

I think mine is a lot older prism finder than those in those images.
I'll contact the fellow I bought them from, and will ask him today.

WTF? Why answer when you don't obviously have a clue? There's no battery in an RB67.
If it's the old CDS finder, it probably takes 2 easy-to-find 1.5v S-76/M-76 button cells, same as this one from the same period:

If it's the newer PD finder, it takes a 6v SR-44.
