Anyone have suggestions for a lens case large enough to fit the diameter of an RB67 lens (4")? Looking for something current with a padded lining. Did a search and turned up cases by Pearstone and Ruggard that seem to have a wide enough diameter - just barely - I need lengths of about 4" to 5".

I have mine in Lowepro cases. Their largest diameter ones (at the time I bought them).
They are snug, but usable.

I've had a couple Outdoor Research units for years now. Sadly I could not find them on line any longer. I think I got them at REI years back. I really like them as I can fit (2) RB67 lenses end to end with a small foam spacer pad between the 2 lenses. A quick on line look at Amazon brought up a zillion comparable type cases. If I needed additional I'd research that stock there as they all seemed reasonably priced too.

Mamiya made their own, at least for the RZ lenses (Which should fit the RBs also). They are leather with a nice velvet lining.

Found a Lowepro case - I think I will go with these, thick padding and the lens diameter does fit. Size of the padding does make a big lens even bigger so they will not be easy to pack inside another case.

coffee cans work for most of my lenses. i just use a bit of tiny bubble, bubble wrap to take up the slack. i like those red plastic cans best.

This is the case I am trying out:

https://store.lowepro.com/lens-case-11-x-14cm

So far it seems to be OK, lens fits and there is plenty of padding all around.

OP, looks and sounds good too. I really like the ones I've had for years as they're very pliable although still quite padded as well. What I really like about them is I can put two lenses in each case on an end to end basis with a small foam pad stuffed between the ends.
This one looks like a really solid case and will last you for years to come. Thanks for sharing this info.

Novoflex wrap. Lightweight, stable, quick and safe.
