hello,
i was hoping someone might have an extra inner tripod socket for an RB67 tripod mount. It is the smaller, removable, threaded insert that fits into the bottom of the RB67's tripod mount, allowing it to step down from 3/8" to 1/4" . i know there are threaded adaptors available at hardware stores, but i would like to find an original Mamiya insert if possible. i would also be interested in a quick release adaptor.
thank-you,
Marc

You should get a proper photographic insert as they are Whitworth threads rather than the UNC thread which you will probably find at the hardware store.

The threads per inch are the same but there is a five degree difference in cutting angle.

You might check the Manfrotto/Bogen parts bins. It's a common adapter bit for tripod/head applications.
