Hi, I bought a Pro SD body with a Pro S film back. I took the film back off and opened the door - I cannot even move the lever. When I pull the lever the spindle does not spin. I have also pushed that middle clip to the left side as well.

I have a Pro non S back and a Pro SD film and they work ....

Cheers.

I don't know - is there a release somewhere that does not let you wind the film until the shutter is fired? I've never had that issue, sorry.

I've taken the film back off the camera. Opened it as if I am loading film but that lever doesn't move. When it is on the camera the camera won't fire unless the film back is set to multi exposure.

I wish I could help. I have the Pro SD model, and I know it has a lot of safeguards. If everything is firing and winding with tne other backs, it must be the back.

Thanks for that. I managed to fix it. It must had been in storage for sometime. Using my finger I turned the top right metal spool stud forward and reverse and I heard something clicked. Now all working correctly with/without the camera body. I don't need this film back but it was the same price as the others but this one came with a film back. I will replace the seals in due time .... The Pro SD body is in real nice condition though. 2x RB's together looks very nice...
