rb67 dud from ebay, which part am I missing?

Recently won a rb67 body(not a pro S) from ebay and then ordered a 120 back and a lens from another place.
The seller only said the body was missing lens and the back so didn't expect I'd run into this problem (Please see linked photo)

The body is missing some kind of part that the actual 120back should mount on.
What is the name of the part that's missing?
Could this be it?

Was that exactly how it was written up? It doesn't say specifically "film back", just "back".

Seller actually wrote " Needs a shutter and film back, but body is in good working condition "
so I thought he meant no lens or a filmback.
Now that I think of it, what he meant by "shutter" was probably the revolving adapter :/

I have no idea how someone could confuse a shutter with a revolving back.... I'd still send it back.

I don't know what you paid for it, but if this photo was in the ad, then he could argue you could have seen that the revolving back adapter is missing. Still, I would contact the seller and tell him this part is missing and that he didn't mention it. The term "shutter" doesn't in any way describe this adapter.

Maybe you can send it back or get a partial refund. Check Ebay for prices for the adapter. Here is an example:

Sometimes it's called "rotating" or "revolving" adapter.

BTW: I don't know if any or all types of revolving adapter will fit on your RB67 model, so check this first!!!

BTW2: If you find an adapter and film back - and mount this on your camera - you might find that the shutter won't fire. If so, please check if the revolving adapter is lined up properly. If it is slightly rotated, the shutter is locked.

The seller obviously isn't familiar with the system. The shutters are in the lenses, but he saw no shutter activating I suppose.

I'd try returning - his description was indeed wrong. May not be worth the hassle, revolving adapters turn up often.

I'd say the bigger issue is - shoulda bought a Pro-S. They're about the same $$ used and have some useful features. I've seen Pro-S bodies with revolving back and WLF for $50.

I paid $39 +15 or so for shipping..without the revolving adapter, I know this isn't a good deal.
Photos were there but I didn't have the knowledge about RB67 system's revolving adapter.
Usually if this kind of camera part is missing, the seller should mention it in the listing.
I'm assuming the seller was not familiar with the system.

Pro-S body with WLF for $50 ? If that kind of deal comes up I'd snatch it in seconds

before the holidays there was a pro-s with adapter but no finder for $40... almost went for that, but I've bought a lot of big paper lately...

Just have to keep your eyes open, or setup a search notification.

The adapters are changeable, and there are three different types.

Most cameras have the revolving adapters attached, but even the camera manual tells you how to take them off and replace them with something else.

You can interchange Pro-S and Pro revolving adapters on a Pro body, but don't count on any interlocks working.

The description (as much as we have of it) isn't particularly clear, but it isn't clearly false either.

I agree with the others. The seller said it is in working condition and it is not. Send it back. You can and will do better next time.
