I've been a long time Rawtherapee user, and in the last six months have adopted it exclusively and delved further under the bonnet. It's a remarkable piece of software for digital and film imaging.

When using older glass I head to de-fringe first, which corrects chromatic aberrations. Colour management is particularly intuitive. I've yet to indulge in the wavelet functions, if anyone has experience of doing so, advice would be useful. Lens geometry is also simpler than some software I've used. It would be interesting to hear other user's experiences.

I have used it off and on for years. It has way more features than I have had a need for.
