I am going to regret this big time but unfortunately I need the funds to support my other hobbies.
I am a collector of antique German telephoto lenses and this has been a prized part of my collection.
It's a tewe Berlin Votar 800mm F5 lens. It's a behemoth of a lens and super rare.
It has obvious cosmetic flaws given it's age but it's in pretty good condition overall. The lens looks clear bar a small scratch on the front element and some dust. I really cannot attest to the image quality as I never shot anything through this. I don't have the lens adapter for it but one should be able to machine something. Tewe lenses show up on fleabay every now and then and that is another route for getting an adapter.
The lens hood is slightly off circular. Otherwise all issues should be clear from my images.
I am asking for $500 net to me.
