Hello all. Had a question put to me I did not know the answer to..
The ILFORD 2000RT fix - How does it differ to a standard RAPID FIX, i.e. KODAK rapid-fix or CLAYTON rapid.
PS - I know the 2000RT is specified a machine rapid fix..
For the kind of use us amateurs would put it to, it's pretty much the same. It's really just a lot of ammonium thiosulfate, a bit of bisulfite to protect against breakdown and some acetic acid to push pH down. Pretty standard stuff.
