I just got a beautiful Recomar 18 complete with film holders and film pack adapter. Unfortunately there is no film being produced in the 6.5 x 9cm or 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches size, and my local lab https://www.underdogfilmlab.com can't process it anyway. I'd love to shoot with this tiny view camera...

I *think* the RADA backs that fit the Plaubel Makinas will fit the Recomar. Hopefully someone here can confirm. If so, I have several for sale that take either 120 film (6x9 image) or 35mm. They are listed here:

Thanks! I'd be interested in your number 4 if it would fit.

I might be interested in #3 if it is still available. I recently purchased a Voigtlander Bergheil 6.5x9 that is still being shipped to me. I understand Rada made a lot of backs for different cameras. Curious if you know if this will fit my camera? OR if there is a way to find out.

#3 is still available.

They made so many variations of these backs, some with thin rails, some thicker, some with bulges at the ends some without, etc. Really, the only way to be sure it will fit is to try, but if you can post a clear photo of the camera's back an educated guess can be made.

Hello. Sorry for the late reply. I have since learned the camera I purchased was misidentified by the estate sales company and it actually an Voigtländer Avus -- still a GREAT deal. And they neglected to say it came with a Rollex film back. I am still waiting its arrival. Fingers crosse.
