Has anybody ever considered the idea of using kodak transparent material for producing sheet negatives with ra4 process? This would make it easyier to contact print it to standard paper.

Interesting question - and welcome to APUG!

Hi Berri

it should be possible as I belive it is basically just RA4 emulsion coated on frosted plastic instead of paper
search for RA4 paper negatives
I have done this in camera and it worked fine although getting a perfect colour balance was very challanging outside
and it was very slow still it was fun to play with

Colour balance would be the challenge.
One of the colour compensating filters used to allow one to shoot tungsten balanced film in daylight conditions might help, although that would lead to even longer exposure times.

I looked for it, the challange is the price. Very expensive!
Dura clear or fuji clear would be a better product for negatives, but you are right really expensive stuff.
