Quirks about the Rollei 6008 AF?

I'm seriously considering the Rollei 6008 AF. Are there any quirks or cautions that I should know about that model before buying?

They are the most evolved of the 600x series and I've found mine to be entirely satisfactory in heavy use. Did you have specific questions? Oh, beware of schmucks on EBay listing AFD lenses as fitting this camera. Only the Hy6 cameras can set the aperture on an AFD lens.

Well, I did a search here and saw the issues about the battery replacement issues, so primarily around things like that. I have a slight concern about the repair support, but it looks like there's still at least one place in the US that handles them.

Good advice about the AFD lenses, I didn't realize that. I'm still trying to get a good picture in my mind about the whole system. I know that some lenses are MF only, some AF, etc.

Other than that, maybe handling issues, maybe quirks with the different viewfinders, etc.

Batteries are simply not a problem, and can be easily serviced by multiple vendors in the US. The Rollei Japan site is still active:http://www.rollei.jp/e/pd/6008AF.html and there's a ton of pics and PDF manuals here: http://www.rolleiflexpages.com/6008AF.html Rollei's approach was to build all the functions into the body, so you don't lose anything by changing viewfinders, ie there is no such thing as a metered viewfinder versus a plain one - it is all done in the body. I don't like the 90 degree finder as the view is dim and it made me sea-sick to pan with it (and it is to short for many di*it*l backs) but that is the only vf quirk I can think of.
