QUOTE=Thingy;975167]It appears that Fuji have decided that they are not going to withdraw their QL film after all, according to a major importer of their film in the UK. (Sound of cussing from people who've sold off their QL film holders at dramatic discounts...)

It looks like they've had a Velvia 50 moment....
....
I am surprised at the ham-handedness of handling this. It is almost as if an american is running fujifilm.

Hi
I can confirm that this is true, I was told by a very well known UK dealer/importer over the Easter weekend.
Does this mean that Fuji in Japan are reversing their decision but that their film will only be obtainable through Robert White, in future? From: DarronHartas <darron@wpsmedia.co.uk>

Hi Thingy,
Fuji UK confirm that they are ceasing production.

Are there any Japanese speakers who could check with Fuji in Japan?Dear Thingy
Thank you for the email. As far as we were aware Fuji were continuing the QL film for the Japanese market but were stopping worldwide sales. Although I have not heard of any further development it is not inconceivable that they have decided to change their stance. We have heard no news from Fuji UK.

Fuji needs to make up their mind with their products....
OK folks, don't get too excited about Fuji's "change of heart". To the best of my knowledge, yes, Fuji UK said there would be some shipments of Quickload film around Spring this year but, after that, no more.
Although, having spoken to Robert White today, it would appear they have another story that may or may not be correct either.:confused:
The most exciting news seems to be that Acros will be in 20-sheet boxes now. No more silly 10-sheet boxes.
