quick survey which 8x10 field camera has most rise and fall

hi,

Looking for a 8x10 field camera has most rise and fall.

Here are what I found. Any other info will be appreciated.

Ebony SV810U Rise 80mm Fall 30mm

Lotus 8x10 R&F 126mm

Chamonix R&F 105mm

Philips comput II R&F 100mm

Canham Metal R&F 135mm
Traditional 155mm

I am curious why you need so much rise and fall. You know of course with a field or view camera you can increase the affective rise or fall by aiming the camera up or down and then re-leveling the standards. I think most 810s can be adjusted beyond the limits of most lenses unless you are using a lens with much greater coverage than is necessary for 810.

Take a look at Richard Ritter's 8x10. The actual figure isn't quoted on the web page, but looks to be at least 150mm.
For his 7x17 it's 270mm, and the 8x10 shares some of the same parts.

I'd second the recommendation you check our Richard Ritter's cameras. I own a Ritter 7x17 and Ritter 8x10. I've yet to run into an issue with rise or fall. BUT, if you need more than Richard's standard cameras offer, just let him know how much you need and I'm sure he can modify his camera to suit your needs.
