Among my rangefinders in a Zorki 1C that I recieved equipped with a Jupiter 8 lens. I am curious as to what the focal length of the camera body view finder is. I have heard from some sources that they are 35mm while sources say 50mm. If its 50mm then I dont need the shoe mounted universal viewfinder which would make the camera much more compact. Can anyone clarify the viewfinder focal length question for me or let me know if there is a way to measure/determine it? Thank you.

I think all the FSU rangefinders and leica ltm (II and III) have 50mm viewfinder.
Except the Leningrad (frames for 50, 85 & 135 with the full viewfinder being approximately 35) and (maybe - never used one) the Drug.
