I've two sheets of exposed 5X4 film with no edge marker to help id the film.
This was shot of my oldest son (he'll be 40 in March) taken by the manager/instructor
of the photo lab at Coleman Barracks in Germany. This had to have been done sometime
around 1981. The instructor's name as I remember it was Hans Bergleman ( I know I am
spelling it wrong). He was/is a master photographer in Germany.
He took two images and gave my son the film. I know that he would get hand signed
Christmas cards from Agfa, Kodak-Germany, etc. each year. And often packages of new
film/paper/chemicals, etc. to experiment with.

Any help with what film this might be????

it took a little while for me to find it, but there is a PDF file containing old notch codes.
from what i can guess ... page 3 shows plus x pan having the same or a similar code.

good luck !

Thanks. I am sure this will help. I did a search for "notch codes" and didn't find this page.

Plus-X Pan was using that same code in the 1976 edition of Kodak Professional Black-And-White Films booklet.
