First of all I would like to say I'm technically clueless in color developing and printing. But on the other hand, I am very fluent in the silver gelatin process.

I don't usually shoot color film, unless in special occasions. I shot 4 rolls of 120 Fuji 400 Pro H for family portraits via Mamiya 645 PRO. I bought them to my local lab. Where they ship it out somewhere else to develop it. I put them in as develop only, because I'm scan them myself at home.

Ok, long story short. When I get them back, about 4 negatives (on the same roll but not consecutive frames), had like a semi transparent silver spot . Small, about 1.5mm in diameter at the most, on each frame on the emulsion side, random and different spots on the frame. It almost looks like someone put a dot on the there a silver marker. If they are bw I'll suggest they are air bubbles, but, what do you think cause this on my color negs? I'll like to know what it is so I don't sound so clueless when I complain to Brian at my local lab while making sure we're on the same page.

Sounds like it could be some kind of dried minerals or salts possibly, does it wash off?

I did not try to re wash it since I do not have any stabilizer. I tried to use a cotton swab + my breath to see if it will come off. It won't.

Could be under fixed or bleached. though I cant imagine it leaving a defined spot.

Can you show us an example.

Not the best photo with my phone, but you should be able to spot it with no problem. Thanks.
