I imagine that the Arista paper "made in Hungary" is Forte and that film "made in the Czech Republic" is Foma but is it the same quality and/or have the same qualities as the 'regular' branded stuff? And since I've never used Foma film I'd be interested in hearing what people think of it and/or of Foma papers.
Thanks

Vic,
I'm curious too !! I had used the Arista of ago from Freestlye and loved it--Still have a few boxes of the 125 speed 8x10 sheets (Ilford FP4) left and have used all my Arista branded (Ilford) MG Paper. Likely was the best bargain around--fabulous film so now I'll have to go back to Ilford branded and boxed stuff at a MUCH higher payout!! So I'll be curious as to the Users of the Ilford replacement for their results with the new version. I had gotten so confortable with FP4 + though--a fantastic film in any format but in 8x10 it really cooperated with my developing technique as well as my metering. I was really disappointed that FreeStyle had switched suppliers!! I also got my ULF (7x17) from Photowarehouse and it also WAS Ilford re-packaged/bulk cut to size but thats history too. Stil have about 50 sheets of the 11x14 PhotoWarehouse version of FP4+ but I'll need more film sooner or later!! My god--I think I saw Ilford FP4+ at I think Calumet in 11x14 at $200 for a 25 sheet box a couple days ago!! Do the math!! That's SCARY!!

There have been quite a few threads about the Arista films and papers, you may want to use the search function to find more info. I don't think that the Arista re-branded stuff is any different from the "primary" product from these manufacturers. It's a good deal.
