Hello

I just bought a cute little Plaubel Peco Junior 6x9, which doesn't have front tilt/swing movement.

I'm wondering if the Peco Junior 9x12 front standard would be compatible with the Peco Junior 6x9 : does it use the same lens-boards and bellows front attachment (95x95mm), and will the standards of any one mount on the same rail ?

The front standard base of the 6x9 is ~ 37 mm x 48 mm and the gear track is 6 mm width.

My idea is to find a used 9x12 and mount its front standard on the 6x9 so I would have those missing movements.

According to the pictures I've found, I'm almost sure that it would work, but I would prefer someone confirm that.

Thanks for your advices.

I don't know if it will work, but You can buy 9x12 very cheap and use it with 6x9 roll film (and if You like also with reducing back for 6.5x9). That way You will be able to use bellows in range 60mm - 320mm. Probably 9x12 camera version will be cheaper than 6.5x9.

I also wrote a few days ago to Plaubel in Germany, they just replied to me, and bad news is the Jr 9x12 and the Jr 6x9 have different board sizes :

« Peco Junior 9x12 (120x120mm, PN2/344) and Peco Junior 6x9 (95x95mm, PJ 1/71A) ».

OT: Can Plaubel Germany have spare parts for Plaubel Profia cameras? I am in quest of searching for washers (no parts from build shops fits).
