I was able to source an Amergraph V28 1200SE plate burner from a print shop that decided to update it's technology
am aware others are using this unit for their AP work

just starting my learning curve with AP
plan to try and make some cyanotypes and then hopefully move on to platinum/pal and gum bichrom.
using digital negatives
have purchased some books to help me along the way

I realize the answer to my question is "well just try a few settings to see what happens"
but was hoping to shorten my learning curve by seeing what others do who have this machine

my question is what settings do you use with this plate burner when exposing for the above type of AP prints

thanks in advance for your help

I've got a NuArc 26-1K so I'm not familiar with the Amergraph but with some nice contrasty negatives, I've had good exposure for PtPd prints in the 8-10 minute range. That might be a good place to start. Someday, I'll be getting the ULF-28 from Amergraph.

I figured it out...

thanks for the response
I puzzled around with the controls until I figured it out

my unit works great
it needs about 3 minutes to get Dmax for cyanotypes

now to proceed and try to make some digital negatives
and print with those...
