Hello Everyone,

Hope you are having a wonderful day!

I had a question regarding the stacking of easels. I have a 16x20 v-track saunders easel and 11x14 v-track saunders easel. As I live in an apartment, space can be limited when printing photos in a darkroom. I had a question regarding stacking one easel (11x14) on top of the other (16x20). Would this cause any damage to the easels?

Thank you in advance for any guidance you can provide.

Happy Printing!

It's unlikely that would damage the larger easel (since you'd likely be putting the smaller one on top). They're pretty substantial things. But you can stand them on edge somewhere and they'll take up far less space.

What @Don_ih says.
The only caveat is that if you also intend to stack them during printing, there may be an issue with keeping the top one level. But I assume that during printing you'll just set one easel aside and use the other one by itself.

I'd put something soft and protective between the two - rubberized shelf liner works well, and it helps prevent the easel from moving.
I use it between the baseboard and a single easel in my normal setup.
