Hi !
I've got a Jobo Expert 3006 drum to process my 5x7 film.
If I had room and money, I would have bought the Jobo ATL 2500 which fits....
But I only have that nice Uniroller.
As you may know it need a modification because the Jobo expert are to big to make a full turn on the Uniroller.
So I modified it to replace the mechanical switch with an electronic one.
Questions :
1) now, the Jobo expert make 9 full turn before changing rotation direction. Is it good ? Too much or not enough ?
2) the 3006 has a tendency to fall outside the Uniroller because it travels to one direction when turning. A cure ? A thought to a cure ?
Thanks a lot in advance for your help and advice !

Thick rubber bands around the tank can help keep it from rotating off the base, as they come up against the rollers. Beseler supplied these with their roller base. Does the Uniroller have built in levelling feet? That could help keep the drum on the base. If it doesn't have levellers, you could build your own from a small board and some sort of screw/bolt/nut, adjustable furniture foot kind of arrangement.

You'd likely be the best one to answer the 9 turns question based on your results.
