Hey everyone!

I'm on set as we speak, small break window rn...

I bought the smallrig NPF plate because my cheap no name one got bent.

After a minute or so, the plate stops charging the camera and it is only fixed by taking out and putting back in the battery. This kinda works...

My question is, does the button do anything but check battery life? It's labelled as a power button but it doesn't do anything for me

Anyone else have this problem? Or a solution?

You likely misunderstood the topic of this forum.

By best imagination I do not see the connection of your problem with the cameras this forum is about.

A plate camera is a camera made to use photographic glass plates. Think really old cameras with bellows, many of them very big.

The original post is about an adapter plate for using popular Sony batteries with various kinds of cinema gear.

The forum is about still photography with glass plates.

Lacking a better location, I've moved the thread to the digital cameras sub-forum.
I will still offer my welcome to Photrio to the original poster.
