In an earlier discussion, we verified Doug Gray's conjecture that, when printing from Photoshop on Windows, choosing "no color management" (or words to that effect in the Epson printer settings) produces the same result as printing with the Adobe Color Printer Utility (ACPU).
Now I have a situation that requires printing from a Mac. Here is my question: If I print using Print Tool on a Mac with "No Color Management," will that produce the same result?
I'm making digital negatives for alt process printing. The negatives that I've been printing from PS on Windows with "no color management" have the best characteristic of all the color management options I've tried, and I want to make sure I'll get the same (or similar) characteristics in negatives printed on the Mac.
