I just gor a Saunder 4500 ll with color module, had a question about the filters. If you look at them with all the knobs at 0, you still see a portion of the filters in the way of the hole. Is this normal? Do they not retract and clear the hole completely?
Wanted to make sure before I opened the module unnecessarily.

Thank you.

The architecture of the Variable Contrast head for my LPL 7700 - the light source I have at hand - is different than that source, but the filters on it are at the edge of the hole at all times.
They do move further out of the way though when I operate the white light lever. What happens when you do that on yours?

Hmm, good idea. Ill try that later when I get back and see if they do move over.
Thanks Matt.

So I took the module apart. Looks like this is normal. Each filter is moving on its rails from stop to stop, can't see anything sticking.
Just looked.odd to me, but...
Thank you Matt for the help.
