Question about the Beseler 23C-III Colorhead

Hello all!

I purchased a Beseler 23C-III enlarger not too long ago and have been having a blast using a darkroom again. I wanted to start doing color prints but I cannot find a 23C-III color head in my price range. I found a Dual Dichro S colorhead in my price range that is compatible with the 23C-II model, but I was wondering if it would fit on my 23C-III. I found an old thread from a guy who asked the same question, and a guy who owned a website about enlargers answered him saying it should be possible, but I don’t want to purchase it if it won’t work with my enlarger. Anyone with some knowledge with this stuff able to help me out? Thanks

Beseler are still in business - you might try reaching out to them.
My understanding is that they are a quite small organization now, and that they can be slow to respond to email, contact request on their website or phone message, but they usually do respond.

That’s actually a very good idea, I gave them a call today and they’re going to look into it for me! I’ll update when I get an answer!
