Hello,I am diying a 8x10 camera but the specs of film holder on google make me confused.According to the specs below, exposure height+distance to the exposure field is 10.026"+0.775"=10.801".The retaining tab location is 10.85,so the gap between tab to exposure field is only 0.049" left?Any one can explain it for me?Thanks very much.

This pic is standard 8x10 holder,it shows the distance from retaining tab to the exposure field is way more than 0.049"

I'm confused.
Retaining tab? I've always heard them referred to as the locking ridges
The retaining tabs being the metal "L" that holds the dark slide in place.
