I have just got a Rolleiflex 2,8 C, it is in lovely condition, it has been CLA'd, the lens is clear, the shutter seems correct at all speeds and every mechanism seems smooth.
However I have noticed that the cocking mechanism of the self timer is different from anything I have seen so far: the lever immediately returns to the idle position after cocking it. Anyway the self timer works perfectly and it is properly engaged by clicking the shutter button

To the other Rollei 2,8 C owners, can you please let me know if your cameras behave in the same way?

My 2.8C does the same thing.
I wind and cock the shutter, move the self timer lever to horizontal and it goes back to vertical when I let go. Pressing the shutter button activates the self timer as normal.
