Question about reducing colour negative

It is possible to reduce , like farmer reducer in B&W, overexploused colour negative ?

Colour negatives have a dye image. Farmers Reducer bleaches and removes silver. AFAIK it cannot be done but no doubt someone here will suggest something if it is possible. Welcome to APUG BTW.
