Hey guys I was removing the top plate of my X570 and after removing the film rewind knob plastic cover I accidentally pushed the metal shaft the knob attaches to and it fell into the camera body (into where the film is I think). Is there a way to open the film door without pulling up on the film rewind knob? Thanks!

Find a paper clip, and bend an end to 90 degrees. Put it in the hole with the bent end facing the end of the camera. There's a small shiny bit down there. all you need is to lift it.

You sir, I can not thank you enough! Did the trick! Now to get this camera back together.

I'm trying to fix a bad capacitor with this X570, seems like it is a common problem. I was checking to see if there was a capacitor on the top plate as well as the bottom. Looks like there is not, just one on the bottom.

I think you're right. The capacitor, C-7, is the same as the capacitor on the X-7-00.

I think the capacitor type is 220uf 4v?
