So I recently picked up a Bolex 16mm movie camera and this little lens came with it. It's a Kinoptik Paris Apochromat 25mm f/2. Has anybody used these or knows anything about Kinptik in general? I haven't heard of them before I bought it and there isn't too much about this lens or the company out there. Any information regarding this lens would be greatly appreciated.

It even came in this adorable little box.

The larger ones (~50mm) have a cult following with Leica users looking for something different/more rare than anything Leitz ever put out.

Too bad mine doesn't cover 35mm. I guess people like obscure French lenses. I checked the prices and the longer focal lengths cost a small fortune.

Grin i know that feeling, i had a Angenieux 35-70 zoom for Leica and found it decidedly underwhelming.
