Question about Bronica back inserts

Does anyone know if the inserts for the Bronica backs, in particular the GS-1 backs, are interchangeable? I have a 6x7 back with a 120 insert and have located a 220 insert for only $25. Will this 220 insert fit the back and if so would it convert it into a 220 back?

If it's like the SQ backs yes. The 220 back differ only in the counter and pressure plate and fit the same back as the 120 insert.

Thanks for the reply. Do you mean "insert" instead of "back"? If I were to put a 220 insert in a 120 back, the counter would still go to 20 (for GS-1)?

It should as the counter is integral to the insert.

Yes, it will fit, will work properly, and will make it a 220 back.
