I started experimenting with farmer's reducer just to see if it's a tool I should add to my inventory of processes. Just from that first experience, I think it has great potential for tweaking local contrast, but now I have a couple questions.

I used it on Ilford MGIV deluxe glossy RC and the reduced area now has a very vague yellowish stain to it. I refixed and rewashed the print after the treatment and still had the stain. Would hypo clearing agent remove the stain?

Also, I use rapid fixer instead of hypo. Since I mixed the two parts of the reducer together, there was sodium thiosulfate in the bleaching solution, but I refixed in my normal ammonium thiosulfate fixer. Could that have anything to do with the yellowish stain?

Any suggestions and advice would be appreciated.
