quantum calcu-light XP light meters unable to change ASA settings

Just bought a quantum calcu-light XP Meter trying to change the ASA settings have read instruction PDF many times after about two hours managed to move from 100 to 400ASA but very sore on the index finger and thumb hope I have not damaged it in doing so there must be a simpler and correct way of doing it any advice would be welcome

After many attempts the penny dropped , should have been useing the index finger and thumb with my right hand not useing both hands apology's for sending message in the first place
