Hey everyone - I've recently purchased the QuadToneProfiler-QuickCurve-DN to start making my digital negatives using a standalone program and have encountered a couple of hurdles in setting up the software before I can begin (instructions from the downloaded resources are applicable to macOS). Can anyone assist me in guiding me to set up the folders for the Blocking Density Curves ink profile in QTR RIP? (I'm using my Epson 4880 machine).

Any assistance will be fantastic! Also, what are your experiences using the software thus far?

If I'm understanding your question, you want to know where to put the .quad profiles for access in QTR? If so, drop 'em in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\QuadToneRIP\QuadTone\Quad4880

I had a good experience with the Excel-based software. Never could get the native version running on my computer; it wouldn't even install. That said, however, I've pretty much moved on to crafting digital negatives using the techniques taught by Bostick & Sullivan. I like using ABW mode to print the neg. It's simple.
