Hi,

I want to use several old brass lenses and a large repro lens along with my sinar p1 with the copal shutter.

The problem now is that the tube of the lens is to large to it does not fit when the shutter is inserted.

Are there accesoires available that can be placed between the front standard and the copal shutter to create a larger distance for a lens tube???

Otherwise I have to get a tophat lensboard for each lens that I have...
I already have normal lensboards.

Perhaps you could use another standard to put the shutter behind the lens. Wide angle bellows inbetween the two.

That's a good one with the middle standard, but it would be easier/faster when I could change the distance between the shutter and the front standard. I thought some time ago I had seen such a tube, but I do not know the name, so am not able to find it on the internet...

You can mount the lens with some spacer rings. In effect, the lens board becomes a "top-hat" board.

I did this for a 360mm Heliar that extended too far towards the shutter. I had a local machine shop make me an aluminum ring. Everything was very solid.
