Pyrocat-MC vs Pyrocat-HD

A flood wiped out my darkroom last year and I starting from scratch. I don't have access to my old negative to do a comparison between the two Pyrocat variations. I print 35mm & medium format films on to variable contrast paper. I would appreciate any input as to which Pyrocat version would give the best results with variable contrast paper.

I've used both and I don't believe you could pick one over the other based on VC advantage. The MC gives me a barely measurable speed advantage and a slightly "edgier" look on prints. It is really a coin-flip decision in my estimation. I use the MC because it's likely to have more stability with the glycol base and my usage is somewhat sporadic, time-wise.

The HD comes in Glycol as well, even the water based is stable for long shelf life. I prefer Pyrocat-HD for consistancy of development. I use it in trays, small tanks and rotary, all excellent results.
