I inquired at Photographer's Formulary about the possibility of buying Pyrocat HD Liquid (premixed) kits using glycol for longer shelf life. Below is Bud Wilson's response, posted with his permission. Via PM, I know that Sandy King has been in touch with Bud and given his go-ahead.

Yes we will probably do that but it will involve redoing instructions sheets, MSDS sheets etc. If you are in hurry I do sell the glycol and all ingredients separate. My MSDS sheets I outsource to another and that could be 4-6 weeks? And I still have to talk to Sandy.

So as said if you need it soon just get the individual stuff.

If you don't mind you have my permission to put this info out to other people or on forums.

Best regards
Bud Wilson

Yes, I have contacted Bud to let PF know that, 1) I have no problem with offering the Pyrocat-HD liquid kit mixed in glycol, and that 2) all of my tests indicate that performance is identical whether mixed in water or glycol.

But with the glycol mix you get the very long term shelf life, similar to HC-100 I believe, so some advantage there.
