hi,

is the recommended 30 min ( after hca ) particular to pyrocat hd developed negs? or can i continue with my usual ilford recommended (i think?)

10 inversions, dump ,20 inversions, dump, 30 inversions washing method?

from my readings, i thought rc and film didn't hold onto hypo, ergo, shorter washing times.

thanks to all in advance!

Pyrocat developed negs can be washed just like regularly developed negs in other developers. Pyrocat does tend to harden the emulsion, but not like a hardening fixer that would require additional washing to remove. So continue with your normal Ilford wash technique.

Hmmm,

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think yer supposed to use HCA on films developed in Pyrocat or any other staining developers. HCA interferes with the formation of image stain IIRC. I also believe that a running water wash is also required to maximize stain formation.
