Pyrocat HD 1:1:100 vs 2:2:100

Dumb question time.

Is it better to us 2:2:100 if I would like to contact print on AZO?

If my tests where done with 1:1:100 how should I adjust my development time using 2:2:100 (Jobo w/expert drum)?

The staining action of Pyrocat HD makes contrast higher with graded paper than with VC. Sandy King will probably chip in here, but it may be that you do not need to change anything about your development. The higher negative contrast may be balanced by the lower illumination contrast of contact printing.

The 1-1-100 dilution is normally used to develop negatives to the density range suitable for enlarging.

The 2-2-100 dilution is normally used to develop negatives to the density range suitable for contact printing on Azo or alt process.

The times should equate since the two processes require negatives of differing density ranges and correspond to the equivalent SBR of both.
